ASHWORD gameplay

ASHWORD

The rack is rotting, spell faster

A letterpress word game about spelling faster than your letters rot. Nine wooden tiles sit on a rack and every one of them is decaying in real time. Type a word out of the rack, press `Enter`, and the tiles you spent are replaced with fresh ones. Any tile you leave too long turns to ash and jams its slot forever. When nothing left on the rack spells a word, the run is over.

BLACKJACKAL gameplay

BLACKJACKAL

A High-Noon Card Roguelike

A fast, turn-based blackjack combat roguelike. Every outlaw has a target number. Draw toward that mark without going over 21, then fire: an exact hand hits hard, raises the permanent score multiplier, and activates suit tricks. Get greedy and a bust deals no damage and may cost grit. Every three defeated outlaws, choose one run-changing edge and keep pushing the bounty.

CHAINDROP gameplay

CHAINDROP

A physics chain-reaction roguelike. Aim a launcher, drop a ball into a field of pegs, and let it ricochet. Every fresh peg it clips raises a multiplier that never resets mid-ball, so a single long ricochet is worth more than a dozen short ones. Clear the round's point target before you run out of balls, pick one upgrade, and face a harder board — forever.

CROWNFIRE gameplay

CROWNFIRE

You are the fire. Do not go out.

A real-time wildfire simulation played from the wrong side. You are not the crew — you are the fire. Pick an ignition point, then keep a living flame front alive across a county that is actively trying to put you out. Burning fuel pays ember heat; heat is the only thing that lets you fling a new head of fire across a river, a rock field, or a freshly cut retardant line. Go out completely and the run is over.

GLYPH//HEIST gameplay

GLYPH//HEIST

Draw. Loop. Steal.

A fast, original score-attack game about drawing risky loops around loot while moving cutters try to slice the line. It is intentionally different from the arena-survival game elsewhere in this collection: there is no shooting, XP, upgrade tree, or player avatar combat.

HANDWORM gameplay

HANDWORM

Grow long. Don't get bit.

A frantic one-hand arcade survival game. Steer a hungry hand-worm through a field of bright bugs, use the snap-grab to smash pursuing mites, and protect an ever-longer body that enemies can bite anywhere. Chained catches increase the score multiplier; filling the itch meter triggers six seconds of invincibility and double scoring.

HUMAN, PROBABLY gameplay

HUMAN, PROBABLY

CAPTCHA panic

A 60-second rapid-fire CAPTCHA gauntlet where a deeply suspicious website keeps inventing new ways to test whether you have a soul. Fifteen procedural challenge families rotate among visual search, precision, typing, memory, timing, and pointer dexterity. Every challenge is playable without sound. Every fast solve builds a score multiplier; every fifth consecutive solve triggers a double-score Human Rush. Three failures and the system classifies you as an appliance.

HUSH gameplay

HUSH

Every sound is a map. Every sound is a mistake.

An echolocation stealth game played almost entirely in darkness. The player is a tiny point in a procedural labyrinth; walls, relics, exits, and the creatures called listeners are invisible until struck by an expanding sound wave. Every pulse reveals the route, but every listener pathfinds toward the exact place the sound was made. Collect three relics, find the newly awakened door, and descend as far as possible without being heard.

OVERCLOCK gameplay

OVERCLOCK

A column-drop fusion puzzler. Aim a numbered cell at one of six columns and let it fall. Three or more touching cells of the same number fuse into one cell of double value — and because the fused cell drops into the gap it leaves, one placement can set off a cascade that runs the whole board. Every few drops a junk row shoves up from the bottom. Let the stack reach the top and the core burns out.

Puzzle Play
PUNCHFOLD gameplay

PUNCHFOLD

Fold. Punch. Pray.

A tactile spatial puzzle about folding paper and punching holes through the resulting stack. Each order shows an 8×8 target pattern and a strict allowance of folds and punches. Fold the working sheet from any edge, punch one or more squares, then unfold it: every layer under the punch becomes a hole. Perfect sheets build a score streak while the rush timer gets tighter; three scraps close the shop.

REFRACT gameplay

REFRACT

Optical strategy puzzles

REFRACT is a deterministic light-routing campaign played on an engraved optics bench. One lamp is the entire arsenal. Each level supplies an exact inventory of mirrors, splitters, lenses, and prisms, then releases the same authored wave on every attempt. Build an instrument, test it, observe the failure, and revise it until every shade burns before reaching the lamp.

ROPEBURN gameplay

ROPEBURN

A grapple-swing climb. You are a hook with no floor and no jump: the only way up is a rope. Fire it at an anchor, swing under it, and let go at the top of the arc — a clean release while you are rising fast whips you upward, pays a bonus, and extends the chain. A wall of fire rises from below, faster the higher you get, and it never stops.

SECOND SELF gameplay

SECOND SELF

A Time-Loop Heist

A fast time-loop heist where each completed 12-second run becomes a replaying clone on the next loop. Park past selves on pressure plates, avoid security drones with the current self, charge the center vault, and steal its core before time rewinds. Each cleared sector requires another simultaneous plate, so the player gradually conducts a tiny crew made entirely of their own past movement.

SHEAR gameplay

SHEAR

Hold tension. Find the bind.

A tactile lockpicking score attack played inside a giant cutaway brass cylinder. Hold the tension lever in its moving sweet spot, find the pin whose spring is binding, and lift its seam exactly to the shear line. Clean sets build a fast combo; false sets, oversets, and heavy torque stress the pick until it snaps. Open as many increasingly nasty locks as possible before the sixty-second job goes cold.

Arcade Play
SLINGSHIFT gameplay

SLINGSHIFT

One Button. No Brakes.

A one-button orbital slingshot score-attack game. The player rides an orbit, times a tangent launch, threads hazards and shards, then locks onto the next planet. Center hits grow the combo faster and charge a score-doubling Overdrive mode. Three missed signals end the run.

Arcade Play
STAMPEDE gameplay

STAMPEDE

Rhythm, rubber, ruin

A tactile four-key rhythm game set on an impossible 1970s office desk. Forms race down four lanes toward a red stamp line; hit `A`, `S`, `D`, or `F` on the beat, hold striped forms through their full carbon-copy trail, and survive an inbox that accelerates every shift. Five errors end the job.

STATIC FEVER gameplay

STATIC FEVER

A 75-second pirate-radio tuning score attack. Bright signals drift across a noisy spectrum. Center the tuning needle on one, hold the lock until it decodes, then make the run's defining choice: release immediately to bank the transmission, or keep holding through the overburn zone for up to 3× value while moving jammers threaten to erase the haul and reset the chain.

LONG DISTANCE gameplay

LONG DISTANCE

Switchboard Panic

A frantic telephone-switchboard time-management game. Incoming calls light a numbered jack and print a destination ticket. Connect the source to the matching extension, keep an eye on every live conversation, and pull finished cords before the twelve-jack board fills. Three missed or misrouted calls end the night shift.
